Icarus
Icarus
The story of Icarus in Greek mythology serves as both a moral and spiritual parable - warning against arrogance aof ego while illuminating the soul’s yearning for transcendence.
Icarus was able to fly using wings his father Daedalus made from feathers and wax. Icarus ignored his fathers warning ‘not to fly too close to the sun’ which speaks to human desire to raise beyond limitations. e heat melted his wings and fell back to Earth.
